Governor Kathy Hochul today announced the state Environmental Facilities Corporation has awarded $300 million in grants to municipalities and public authorities for water infrastructure projects across the state that protect public health or improve water quality. The grants are projected to save taxpayers an estimated $1 billion.
Lists of awardees are available by program
- Water Infrastructure Improvement (WIIA) and Intermunicipal Grants (IMG): 73 projects awarded $279.3 million
- Green Innovation Grant Program (GIGP): 8 projects awarded $15.8 million
- Engineering Planning Grants (EPG): 70 projects awarded $3 million
